Remember, Symphony has only been around for less than 6 months in an official, supported product. And, the game is bigger than Office to Notes/Notes to Office. We are talking about a product on 3 platforms one day.

Everything is in early stages here. The product is technically still in beta (the stand-alone product is). There will be massive changes in Symphony over the course of this year. The developers experience will be part of that of course.

We will get a LotusScript API, just do not expect it this week :-). They need to get it right on the first try. And the easiest thing for them to do today was release the Eclipse Plug-in piece, since that dovetails to the Composite Application support.
